This picture is from the wonderland trail in 2005. That was the last major hike I was on. That will change in a few weeks as we are planning a big trip to the wilds of alaska. Four days on the goat trail then three days in denali. We take a bush plane in and transfer via plane between the two trails. What a trip. I am looking forward to it more and more. I have joined the journeymen once again.

Despicable Douchebag of the Day: In the monologue portion of last night’s episode of The Tonight Show (where laughter goes to die), hack host and well-known joke repeater Jay Leno took an astoundingly offensive pot shot at former host Conan O’Brien and his fanbase.
At 3-minutes, 45-seconds in, Leno briefly displayed a portion of a fake Facebook page attributed to wouldbe NYC carbomber Faisal Shahzad. Purposely overlooked, but clearly visible, were Shahzad’s supposed group memberships. Shahzad, it seems, is an open supporter of Team Coco.
Simply disgusting. Even for Jay.
